Best green juice / smoothie in all of south beach. Anywhere else we went they would add milk, it would be super tiny and a total rip off. This place makes everything made to order. To be honest with you, the food looked legit but we have a gluten allergy and this place is authentic Italian (I think). Go here for the juices. Fresh made. And the gluten. If you can have it.

Housed in the bottom of the Westin, this new coffeeshop is a great little addition to the area. I stopped by for lunch and went for the half sandwich and salad combo. I ordered the pastrami with gruyere cheese, mixed greens and mustard on ciabatta, along with the house salad with dressing on the side. In need of caffeine, I ordered a macchiato made with Illy. I was handed a number and opted to sit inside (there is more outside seating than inside) which is refreshing if it's a nice day. Within minutes, I was served my food. Even the half sandwich was cut in half and more than enough. The salad was also a decent portion, making this an ideal lunch for only $6.99! I love pastrami and would order it again (definitely have to be into mustard), but they have so many sandwiches that all sound delicious. Crema also features a large breakfast menu, served until 2:00 pm, along with larger salads, crepes, and smoothies. Overall, it's a super easy and convenient option for grab and go, or to have a quick meet up with coworkers or friends. The space itself is really cute and blends into the area quite nicely. Pro tip: If you need to go to the restroom, you'll have to exit the shop and head inside the hotel.

We stopped by here on a sunday morning before checking out the farmers market in South Beach. It wasn't busy, maybe two other customers. I ordered a iced mocha coffee and a cookie, and my guy ordered a green smoothie. I got my coffee first, but we waiting 20 minutes for the cookie, and then I was finished and ready to leave and the smoothie wasn't even out. We told them we just wanted our money back but they rushed and made it and we left finally with what was ordered. There was no apology and lucky for them their baguette bar looks for appetizing I will be back, but they could majorly work on customer service and just making the orders people pay for. Great coffee by the way.

If there is one thing to take away from this review, it's that you must try the chicken club sandwich. Absolutely outstanding and met all of my expectations. They also have really good soups. I tried both the minestrone and mushroom and they were both delicious. Fantastic flavor and very fresh. It is obvious everything is made with fresh ingredients from scratch. The ambience is cool and rustic. Great vibes with cozy tables to enjoy a quick lunch or cup of coffee (or both). It has a nice feel to it and a breath of fresh air for miracle mile. I truly hope this cafe will last and get the business it deserves. I can't wait to come back and try a new sandwich or one of the salads! See you soon, Crema.

My partner and I were visiting from DC and we needed a great place to eat breakfast. Crema came highly recommended, and so, we decided to dine there. We both ordered the #9 Breakfast Sandwich, and we have yet to regret it. We have been having breakfast at Crema since Saturday afternoon. Upon our return home on Tuesday, Crema again, was our go to spot. Not only was the food and the Espresso great, the staff knew and acknowledged us, which meant a lot. Miami is fast, not every eatery takes time out to pay attention to customers repeatedly supporting their business. One worker said,"Tina, your back!" My partner and I will return. We enjoyed Crema.

High hopes as per earlier reviews and menu. Staff seemed put out by my presence even though there were only three other people in this sizable shop. Fresh squeezed OJ was good but pricy, $4 for a small, and came full of ice. Ice in my fresh squeezed OJ?? I felt like someone just handed me a watered-down martini. I was hoping for real oatmeal, but received the instant kind in a paper cup. And when it was ready, the guy behind the counter just yelled, "Hey. Hey!" at me across the restaurant loudly, even though I had given him my name. Plus all dishes, cups and utensils were disposable. You have a dishwasher, right? Get some real silverware, keep a bin around, then wash it. Have some hard plastic cups for water. Real mugs for coffee. That effort would have changed my experience for the better. I know the bar is set pretty low for any eating establishment in South Beach, but with some improvements in attitude and effort, this could be a nice place to know about.

Ok coffe but very small amount of food. We had an omelette and one scramble with two pancakes. My wife received the end of the bread loaf for her toast which for us isn't so nice. Your much better of having a breakfast at the front porch cafe. We paid 30$ for this appetizer with coffe, while having eaten at the front porch for a couple of dollars more and with so much more food. We won't be coming back here, sorry!

This place is a bit small but the food is pretty good. I looked up the reviews and they said the coffee here is best in town. I guess I'm not a big coffee fan but it was pretty good. I got the ice caramel coffee with Nutella croissant

Sandwiches are tasty but that's it. If you are on lunch brake dont go there. It will take 10-15 minutes to place your order (no lines are not long, maby 2-3 people in front but the service is slow) besides that they rush you to order so no way to ask questions. Also they dont ask if you want any sauce or don't want and with the pressure no time to think. But if you are lucky ask them to give you salad without onions. They are atomic! And if you have to ho back to the office or have a meeting, doesn't matter how well you brush your teeth after lunch, those onions will stay with you for the rest of the day. In conclusion: if you are not in a hurry and want a good sandwich you should try this place

I really enjoyed getting my cappuccinos here in the morning :) Very nice and chill place and conveniently located on Washington Avenue. They have some deal if you buy coffee in the morning then you get 50% off your second cup after 2pm!!! What a great surprise it was lol Oh, and the coffee is huge :) My cappuccinos rocked the boat. Literally!!!! Totally gonna stop by again once I'm back for the beach therapy lol :)

I've always walked by this place multiple time but never seemed to try it but today was the day. I order delivery it arrived fast and to my surprise it was on great condition. I order a detox power, yogurt with nuts / honey and my last item on menu tuna salad. The taste on juice was fresh and not overpowering. The salad was a decent size not crazy big and it was super tasty, clean flavors is what I like, it had no dressing which was good. I also added three boiled eggs for extra protein. Prices where very reasonable for SoBe. I definitely recommend this place for a quick fix or nice lunch. I appreciate the fact that is around my neighborhood and walking distance. The only negative about this place is that is not open 24/7.

Top notch coffee but wish the price was a little less expensive--easy to walk right past but amazing atmosphere whether on your lunch break or having a meeting Crema's diggs seem to suit any customer looking for good coffee and a couch to relax on

I will start with the fact that the food was good and the croissant breakfast sandwich i had was delicious, but we literally had to work for our food. My one friend had to order about a good 3 times to get her food and all she wanted was toast...toast....just a few slices of bread and that took not only 3 tries to get right, but she was one of the last people in our group to get her food. I waited 30 minutes for my sandwich, meanwhile my two other friends who ordered the same thing got it instantly. I asked twice for it and both times they said it was coming, but they somehow managed to get the 5 other people who ordered after me their sandwich and coffee and I was still waiting for my croissant with cheese and ham... After all of that, the owner still had the nerve to come to our table to ask us to write a yelp review. You do realize we had a terrible experience and despite the fact that the food was good, our experience was terrible and made us late for an activity we had planned. So, here you go sir, here is your yelp review. We also expected this place was new and they were still working out the kinks, but they've been open for almost 2 years now...the kinks are all worked out and this is just how they operate.

RUDE RUDE RUDE. Greeted all three of the people this morning no response after making my order and it just being placed on the counter I had to ask for a straw even after taking it and saying thank you for the 3rd time I was ignored. My Green juice had ICE and already tasted diluted. I came to support was so excited to find a place on the way to work but... I wouldn't give them another red cent with that attitude.

Fantastic, fresh pressed juices and a great staff. I was nursing a hangover and couldn't handle something as heavy as a coffee, but the detox juice got me right back on my feet and ready for the next Pool Party. Hurrray, Crema!

2.5 stars. Decidedly average. It may as well be that chain place that used to live in this space. Coffee, salads, and soups in a quick service environment. All fine. I had a half veggie sandwich and house salad. Might have been more memorable if they allowed you to pick (and pay for, of course) one of the specialty salads instead. But alas, no such luck. House salad was missing the cucumbers I was told it had and the lemon dressing was creamy when I expected a vinaigrette. Half sandwich was suitable but the bread was over-buttered to the point that it was very greasy. They have large bottles of Perrier for like 2.50 which is a steal, so yay there The service was also forgettable except it took about 10 minutes longer for my friend's cold sandwich to be ready than it took my combo. Strange. Staff seemed to be distracted or checked out. Possible absence of management presence like occurs so frequently in sobe. Despite all this the food is edible and the prices aren't horrendous. I won't be returning and if someone tries to make me, I'll suggest Sandwicherie or Aroma. Also annoying was the girl smoking a cigarette at one of the only two tables outside while we ate - tiny area, not cool. No points off here as this isn't the fault of the establishment. But still, worth mentioning because wtf, people?? Bottom line: skip it unless you're forced to go or desperately need your caffeine fix

I tried this place rather than my favorite place down the street. Starts with C. This place has Curb appeal and is very nicely decorated on the inside. It has a wide selection of food, juices and coffee. I PERSONALLY did not like the iced almond coffee I purchased. First, the price is BOGUS! $5.75 for 16 ounces of coffee. The taste was not that good either. I will stick to my neighborhood coffee shop by Anthony's pizza:)

Favorite spot to go for a salad and espresso.. Salads are huge and full of all kinds of goodies .. The owner or older gentlemen in the front is the sweetest man and is always so polite.. You feel welcome and invited

I stopped in to Crema for a cup of coffee and a croissant egg sandwich while I was visiting Miami. Both items were pretty standard and good. The cafe itself is cute and has a good amount of outdoor and indoor seating.

Breakfast sandwich was amazing. My son and I shared a sandwich and we were stuffed. OJ is fresh, and coffee is ground in the cafè. Only complain is they forgot to make my sandwich. Maybe because I ordered it with egg white. Once I brought it to their attention they were prompt and apologetic.

Cute little joint tucked away. The crepes are delicious. I also got an espresso since we're at an espresso bar.

Great little find. I was attending the emerge conference at Convention Center and during the l inch break came to the ATT store and this little gem was right next door. I ordered a signature combo with water bottle and for 10 bucks got an amazing 6" prosciutto sandwich with Mozarella, arugula and peppers and a delicious tomato soup. The sandwich was so jam packed with prosciutto that I only ate half and saved the other half for later in the afternoon. Everything was delicious and I will definitely come back.

It was my first time here and I have to say it's definitely going to be my new favorite spot. From the delicious coffee, breakfasts, fresh juices and so many other me ur items....it's a better version of Starbucks. The only downfall is that it doesn't have a restroom so don't stop in if you may need to use the bathroom.

    (5)
  • Stefan D.

Awesome coffee and service. We tried the regular filtered coffee and large espresso. Nice and strong! Croissants are delicious too. There is also a selection of real, healthy food. Much preferred to the big French place around the corner.

  • Dana L.

The croissant with ham and cheese and it was delicious. But I was bummed out that the Islander smoothie was kinda lame. Kinda like I went to Trader Joe's and bought some frozen berries medley and put some water in my blender and mixed it all up and put it in a cup and sold it for $6.20. Meh. Good sandwiches tho!

Crema: "Taking the express out of expresso!" Hey dude, stop texting and help the one girl actually working make my drink. Great location, but let's work on the service. Next time I'll just go to Starbucks.

Cute quaint place to grab coffee and or have breakfast. We got the pancake breakfast and it was delicious. Some people complain that the wait was too long, we waited about 15 mins for our food. The cooking area is only so big, so the wait is expected. For us it was worth it, we got our coffee right away and since we were not in a rush to be anywhere, it was time to sit back and chill. We would definitely eat here again.

Part of me wants to move to Miami Beach just so I can go here everyday. Came here on a whim with a friend looking because we were trying to find tropical smoothie, on the way this place caught my eye and I had to go in. It's a small, quaint, breakfast/sandwich/espresso bar. So I've actually never had food here, but I have gotten the red, blue, and white smoothie twice. Every time I crave a smoothie, I think of this place. They have 16 oz and 24 oz. Sorta of pricey at 6ish bucks for a 16 oz. I would def upgrade for the 24 oz for a dollar more if you're feeling daring lol. Anywho, next time I find myself in SoBe, I'm definitely gonna come here and actually try their food haha.

The best place for coffee and breakfast. Love their crepe and the coffee is made with illy coffee beans. The best coffee ever! Wish they were open longer for a breakfast dinner!

Have been coming here every time I've been in Miami. Excellent spot for breakfast, lunch, or coffee. Breakfasts are good, a great choice of delicious and healthy options, and a nice coffee / tea selection. Friendly service also, and very clean and great decor inside. The only reason this is not 5-stars is because they advertise having outdoor seating. Well, the reality is, there are two tiny tables outside, and each holds two people at most. So I would not count on sitting outside if I were you - chances of scoring an available seat of total four are pretty slim. Also, no power outlets outside, in case you were planning on bringing a laptop. Plenty of power plugs indoors though.

5 star food, 0 star service. They have some excellent quality breakfast food but even when we came in at 1 when it was slow, the order was taken in grunts. The staff was unresponsive until you asked multiple times.

  • brian b.

Pretty good sandwiches for a coffee shop. I had the veggie panino. The sandwiches here remind me of the sandwiches that you can get a highway stops in Italy. That's a compliment because those are pretty tasty road panini. The guys are a little grumpy but they are still pretty nice. I'd rather a little gruff than fake friendly bullshit anyway. They're working hard and making good stuff.

Good morning South Beach! Excellent coffee-starting with Illy brand, and complemented by impeccable technique-my caffè lattes were delicious every time. Fresh squeezed orange juice and superb breakfast sandwiches rounded everything out. The staff is professional and accommodating-I asked that they make a sandwich with a Greek omelet rather than the omelette listed on the specials board and they obliged. It's all made-to-order, which is a must for eggs. It is spacious and stylish, with a just-right soundtrack playing. Perfect!

I was on the look out for pancakes ... as usual during my holidays. The Miami weather is not the best for such food or anything in that food group (doughnuts and such). But I only had one more morning to have pancakes before going back to the UK, so I had to do it. This cafe offered a less pricy option to the surrounding restaurants. It looks very nice when you walk in, with chalkboards on the walls and wooden counters to eat on. The order was taken at the till at the beginning and I collected my coffee from the counter at the end. After a short while my name was called out and I looked for my food at the counter at the end, where I collected my coffee before. When the staff notices my confused face, as no food could be found, it was pointed out that it was sitting on top of the glass counters. I didn't see it as it was above eye level. Also it came on a plastic plate. This plastic pate was one of the minus points, as well as the hiding of food on overhead glass counters. The pancake itself was nice, but had way too much Nutella on it, but thats a preference not many Americans share.

  • James K.

Ordered a coffee, orange juice and a crossaint sandwich. The coffee and OJ came on time but the croissant sandwich came 20 mins later. That is unacceptable. They also did not give notice of how long it will take nor did they apologize for the long wait. Gave 2 stars because the food eventually came.

    (2)
  • Maria C.

We stopped in for coffee and ended up buying smoothies instead. I opted to order the large red, white and blue ($7), which is pretty much a strawberry, blueberry and banana smoothie and a chocolate croissant with nutella ($3.25). The smoothie wasn't as sweet as I had hoped, but it sufficed on a hot day. The chocolate croissant with nutella was small. I shared it with a friend and I consumed my half in 1 bite!

I work nearby Crema and it's one of those places where many of my coworkers go for lunch, so I decided to try it out one day. I was greeted at the cash register by the owner of Crema, who also owns Kouzina in Midtown. He was friendly and when I told him where I worked he knew some of my coworkers. It was nice to know that he does remember his regular clientele. For my meal I got the Italian crepe, and some baklava. I'm happy to say that the crepe was made fresh when I ordered. Unfortunately, I didn't like the crepe that much. I thought the flavor was off. Crema is a good lunch spot, but I don't know if I would recommend getting an Italian crepe.

Great new spot in the gables. Healthy variety of breakfast options. Generous portions for the price. Friendly staff and great decor. This place will do very good here. Used my belly card to check in and the first check in gives you a bonus espresso or coffee!! ;). I'll be back for lunch.

I ordered a turkey sandwich from here. It was pretty good, but it was really greasy. I wasn't anticipating this sandwich (I had originally ordered a turkey wrap but they don't have those anymore, so I said yes to making it into a sandwich, but didn't think of the bread or style.) If I order from here again, I'd specify nothing overly greasy...maybe just plain multi-grain bread. Not bad, prices are reasonable. I'm willing to try it again but only if I'm very specific that I don't want it to be so greasy.

I was resisting trying this place even though I work in the office building directly above because it seemed too expensive. However, one evening, the gentleman behind the counter broke a large bill for me, without my having to purchase something, so I figured I'd give them a try. I gave it two attempts and after the first one, probably would have rated them 3 stars. First visit, I had the smoked salmon sandwich. The bread was excellent and not much salmon was required as it naturally has an intense flavor. There was a small amount of herb cream cheese, which was the perfect amount. The guy behind the counter wasn't too friendly, kind of bordering on gruff, but I was in and out pretty quickly, so no complaints. I went back and tried a crepe for visit #2. I did a build-your-own and picked swiss, mushrooms and dijon mustard. There was a different unfriendly guy behind the counter who gave me incorrect change, so my $7.50 crepe ended up costing me $8.00. The crepe was prepared quickly and left on the counter in a to-go box, with no utensils or napkins. Not a big deal as I keep a stash in my desk drawer. The crepe was warm and savory and had WAY too much dijon mustard, so much so that mustard was the only discernable flavor. It was large and I am full, but between the gruff staff, poor math skills and food that is just "meh", I won't be returning soon.

After looking at other yelp reviews, my husband and I decided to try Crema's for breakfast. Talk about a morning win!!! He enjoyed the ham, cheese and mushroom omelette, and I had the apple pie pancakes. The pancakes were AMAZING!! Truly enjoyed it everything and look forward to coming back!

This place was a great find in South Beach. I am somewhat of a coffee snob and have tried numerous places all over the country....this place, hands down, had the best cafe mocha I have ever had. They have the perfect chocolate, perfect temperature, and perfect froth. It was great. My boyfriend had an iced coffee that he was impressed with and he is from Seattle area....so it takes a lot to impress him with coffee as well. The menu looked great here too. The service was good as well. highly recommend this place.

  • Valeria P.

1 Star for great coffee, 0 stars for customer service. Staffed with rude people entirely uninterested in providing decent service. Sometimes places have off days; we gave them multiples opportunities to impress us, but each time was a disappointment. With so many other good coffee options nearby, we won't be going back.

I wanted to get my caffeine fix but not wanting to visit another Starbucks I did a search and found this place in the heart of South Beach. The interior is very nice and the coffee was pretty good, I enjoyed it and I would go back.

Perfect. Everything you want in cafe food and drink. Delicious sandwiches with fresh toasted artisan bread, fresh generous and yummy salads, and a variety of fresh squeezed juices and smoothies and coffee drinks. I got delivery which arrived in 30 min. The smoked salmon sandwich on French baguette and the arugula salad with pesto dressing -- so good and fresh and healthy. It's hard to find good healthy food and good value and service on the beach -- I'm a new loyal customer.

Need a midday snack to satisfy a sweet tooth and went into Crema for the first time. The giant macadamia nut cookie and coffee hit the spot. I noticed the food looked interesting and the place was busy. The prices on the special board are interesting enough that I will be back for lunch soon.

This review is for the new Crema location in Coral Gables right on Miracle Mile. I decided to stop in during my lunch break to check it out and I was pleasantly surprised at the attention I received immediately when I walked in. The staff was very attentive and friendly and my drink was definitely worth the money. I got the caramel cappuccino and I must say its one of the best cappuccinos I've had in a while. I will definitely be returning and trying out their paninis and soups.

The owners opened up this place with quality in mind. They have bouts with service issues BUT the food, juices, coffee etc are all very very good!! I visit them at least once a week. Headed there now for my daily juice.

Nice coffee bar. I love breakfast and here it was possible to get it all (yoghurt, oat meal, eggs, breakfast sandwiches, croissants etc. - and fresh home made juices).

I don't understand how this place got a 4-star rating. Maybe the owner, the employees and all of their friends had to rate it 5 to get there... They took some amazing pictures of food... But it's not the same food I just tried. Their pre-made pancakes are awful. Their "maple syrup" is the worst corn syrup concentrate I've ever tried. The coffee is also pretty bad. If it wasn't for its location this place would never survive a day.

  • Xiao W.

This place is fairly small but the atmosphere is really comfortable. The food is really tasty and service is pretty fast. I would definitely recommend trying the iced mocha cappuccino - it's amazing! I didn't give a five star because the workers forgot out waters and we had to ask twice but food wise - you can go wrong with this for a light lunch.

Finally.... The real deal is Here. I thought I would never see the good quality of coffee with the Baristas with the right technique making it to Miami!!! I was skeptical to think that the only coffee that people knew how to make in Miami was "Cuban"... And nothing wrong with that, but the sugar overload that hides the quality of the coffee bean is simply not my thing... I love good coffee and by that I mean the quality of the actual coffee bean, being prepared by a true barista (a true one!) that knows who to make the different coffees to perfection. A pastry to go with coffee should be a compliment... Like an orchestra of flavors the coffee and pastry should not take one another but compliment one another making the whole thing better. I'm so happy to finally see Miami having the real experience of the art of making and drinking coffee!!! Definitely a must go for the true coffee lovers! Way to go Crema Barista! MM

  • Christopher M.

Decent enough food (4 stars), horrid customer service. The caprese panini was solid, not overly expensive either. Service however was another story. Cashier was not friendly, the order took about 10 minutes to prepare as well. In addition, a customer after me ordered a similar item, which took longer to prepare, he complained to management and management plainly pointed directly at me, accusing me of taking his order by mistake which was why it took so long (since I ordered first, uhhhhhhhhh my order came out first, they were just looking for a scapegoat). Even if there was a mistake, you never accuse a guest in public, that's customer service 101. I also observed a cashier flirting with a patron for several minutes, not taking guests behind her, blatantly disrespecting their time. Decent food, horrible customer service averages to 2 stars in my book.

Good coffee. We also had a croissant with ham and cheese. Was good! Anything things they could improve? Ask it's for here or to go. We were eating there and all our stuff got wrapped up in a bag so we had to open it and cut it in half to eat it. Overall way better then the line at Starbucks! Support your local business! Will go again! They have wifi

Coffee was very good but the food was not. Would recommend for coffee but not an entire meal. The fruit in our fruit salad was past and much inedible. Nothing special in other plates. We did not taste pastries so no judgement on that important item. Service was courteous but staff seemed new and still learning their way around.

3 stars. Same ownership as Kouzina and Freshko in downtown Miami. Nice concept here. Illy coffee is served which is always tasty. Their prices are reasonable, the place is clean and service is good. Washington Ave has become so trashy it's nice to see a semi-upscale place like this, although I'm not sure it's good enough to make me return.

Stopped here for a quick afternoon latte to-go, turns out they were just about to close but served us happily anyway. My latte was legit - i.e. VERY good. My friend got an inexpensive juice. They have lots of food options - overall I enjoyed the decor, vibe, service and products! Thanks Crema

The place was recommended to me by my sister, so I knew it had to be good. Had a nice salad and power shake with my wife. The prices are adequate for the food quality. Very nice place and the service was good.

After reading so many good reviews of this place, my wife and I decided to go here while exploring Miami one day on our honeymoon a few weeks back. What we received were the single worst coffee drinks either of us have ever had. We both ended up throwing away our drinks - we only had maybe half of them. First off, I'm a big espresso fan. I can't say I am an expert on the matter, but I know what makes a good shot of espresso, and I'm not talking about Starbucks either. The cashier told me I didn't want an extra shot in my latte when I asked. That alone should have told me to leave. That is why places go out of business. You have to listen to your customers, not tell them they're wrong. I ordered an iced caramel latte, and my wife ordered a vanilla cappuccino. Neither of our drinks had any flavoring in them. I'm pretty sure they just made plain lattes and put in different sized cups. The espresso tasted sour, not like Illy (the brand of espresso they openly promote that they use everywhere) should taste - it should be strong, but balanced, with an earthy note. Thankfully, there was so much milk froth in our drinks that it distracted us from the fact that there was any espresso in them at all. I regret giving this place any of my money, and I would recommend, if you like good coffee or espresso, to go anywhere else. Heck, there's better coffee as the Nespresso lounge a few blocks away, and they don't even use an espresso machine - they use their Nespresso pods. Long story short: horrible customer service, and horrible drinks. Hey, at least the place looked pretty.

good iced latte with a reasonable price tag (just shy of 5 dollars for their smaller sized 2 shot latte). staff appeared to be in the middle of their mid-afternoon restaurant cleaning project so there was a little bit more of a wait for my coffee than probably would usually happen. who cares, though, i'm on vacation time

I hate writing bad reviews, but this one is deserved. Ordered a soy latte and eggs over easy. 15 minutes later my food arrives on a plastic plate. No cutlery. While the cutlery arrives, I eye with dismay the two eggs swimming in oil next to the two tiny pieces of bread. Cutlery arrives, I cut into my eggs and the whites aren't done. Also, since the cutlery is plastic as well, can't cut through the bread. At this point my latte arrives, of course not soy. I send it all back, and that's it. No apology, no let's try to fix it. And so I left, in search of a place that actually serves breakfast.

Although the food is great, the staff rarely smiles or makes eye contact which is wierd since they are in the service business. It's almost as if they are being bothered. Good food, bad service.

Good location breakfast restaurant. Their portions are small and the food is nothing to brag about. Their prices are reasonable. The staff is polite. I ordered an oatmeal that I'm pretty sure was microwaved instantly.

I'm not sure who gave this place 4 stars, but it's terrible. I ordered a crepe with spinach, mushrooms, and Gruyere and it wasn't even cooked. Nor was it spinach! My gf ordered a Nutella crepe- entirely too much Nutella, they added chocolate syrup to it also.

I was in urgent need of a vegan breakfast after a morning run and bike ride. Hit the spot perfectly. Great oatmeal and amazing fruit juice smoothie. Washed down with a nice refreshing cup of tea. Lovely.

One of the few places we were near where you could have breakfast. It has a nice atmosphere and a good variety of menu items, including freshly pressed juices. My wife had a savory crepe, a smoothie and an espresso . I had a sweet crepe and an orange juice. We enjoyed it all. The wait after ordering counter service was a little long, but overall it was a pretty good way to start the day.

I am so sad. Read the great reviews thought ok I'm on vacation lets get some coffee n crepe's to go get home and horrible just plain wrong. Coffee had a foul smell to it and crepes were dry n just not good so sad today all the food we've had in sobe has bin so good to this point. My wife's banana crepe wasn't even complete! Way to expensive for the sad state the food was in when we got home. Had to dump the coffee straight down the drain 2 vanilla cappuccino's 9 bucks.

A tad slow. Placed supposed to open at 8 am. Manager and cook showed up at 8:10. Apparently, they needed extra time to make sure their sunglasses were nestled perfectly in their long, happening hair. Fear not, the guy at the register was happy to take my money before the others arrived. Manager has a nice looking Rolex. It must be fake because it's running very slow. The eggs showed up at 8:25, completely under-cooked. OK, been here 45 minutes. My second order of toast and peanut butter is under construction. It showed up, barely warm. Having said that, the place is spotless and attractive. I liked the 80's soundtrack.

Attention pretty slow, guy behind the counter was quite brusque. Place was cute and well kept but the food a bit lacking- chicken salad tasted artificial and was bland except for overly sweet dressing. Ordered plain filter coffee which was delivered borderline cold, and iced cappuccino which was too sweet. Overall a bit disappointing.

I was expecting a bit from the coffee at Crema. It was OK, but not spectacular. The breakfast sandwich I had was pretty good, nothing to write home about. I was expecting a little more from this place. Definitely not a bad place to stop at, but not a destination.

This place has excellent iced coffees for less $$ than Starbucks! They have a great variety of sandwiches, and even serve breakfast. If I lived in this area, this would be a regular stop for me.

Love their build your own sandwiches! Best cappuccino I've had in South Beach. Only reason for 4 stars is the outside area is so small which would be fine but it seems to be a urinal for the drunks and bums at night when they close. Would be nice if they could spray around the tables to minimize the smell. Inside is nice and clean though! Friendly service.

Great breakfast place, best coffee, they serve illy which I consider best coffee you can buy and they know how to make a good Italian coffee. Best fresh squeezed orange juice and Greek omelettes. Don't get hosed on mediocre overpriced hotel breakfast, this is so much better

This place is amazing! The prices are cheap and reasonable. The food is absolutely delicious! Portion sizes are great. The seating is comfortable and the music gives the place a really cool ambiance. The service is excellent. The employees here are very attentive and were helpful and sensitive towards my food allergies. They also have very healthy food options. I highly recommend this place!

My sister and I spent a week in Miami and we ended up at Crema about every other day! In theory, we like to try new/different restaurants each day while on vacation, but we kept coming back to Crema because it was a guaranteed great experience. The coffee is amazing. They take great pride in crafting a nearly perfect cup. There were several mornings when I woke up and Crema's coffee was the first thing on my mind ... hmmm. I also really enjoyed the almond croissants, smoothies and breakfast sandwiches. On our last day in Miami we treated ourselves to chocolate chip banana pancakes here and enjoyed those too. My sister wanted the pancakes to be warmer, but the flavor and texture were spot on. The only thing I had here that I wasn't crazy about was the omelet. I can't remember everything that was included in that dish, but I did not like the huge chunks of feta cheese. I enjoy feta, but the preparation of that dish was just not my thing, per se. Nevertheless, Crema is a must have for anyone looking for a consistent, good quality breakfast in the Miami Beach area. It was hands down my favorite breakfast experience during our entire trip.

Love this place! Fantastic coffee and smoothies but my favorite is their soups and salads. They have this Steak and White bean soup that is out of this world and cheap. You can't beat that. Great for a quick grab and go, she. You want something fast, fresh and flavorful.

One of my favorite go-to's for a quick breakfast or lunch. I work in the area and was so happy when I walked in here. Place is clean and modern inside and they always have a cool soundtrack playing. I love the chicken salad and the coffee is a nice alternative to the ubiquitous Starbucks cup.

yelp never leads my astray! we came here for just a cup of coffee and latte and a breakfast sandwich. what a bummer. the customer service was poor. a sugary and sweet latte. we ordered a BLT and the T was missing. there was trash on the tables and overflowing from the cans. i am not sure if this was just an off day, but double thumbs down for our visit.

  • Marty G.

Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. This place will be known for mediocre coffee and bad service in my book. All things considered this place makes Chain coffee places look good. This is a toned down review in comparison to the original that was removed by yelp. I am assuming that Crema doesn't appreciate the truth being told from real customers and favors the positive reviews left by their kin.

I'm from Seattle so I know good coffee! Spent a couple days in Miami after our cruise and was looking for a good coffee shop near our place to call home for the next few days. Not only is the coffee fragrant, creamy, and delish -- I loved the fresh juices, pastries, and sandwiches. Didn't get to try the crepes but they also looked amazing! Next time -- we came here every day on our trip! Best coffee in South Beach!

The mission, to find the best restretto espresso on Miami Beach to go with a great lunch. The contender: Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar. The verdict: A five star lunch with an excellent cup of espresso. The facts: Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar is a quaint little espresso cafe with a surprisingly diverse menu filled with healthy options for a South Florida power lunch. They have smoothies, protein shakes, egg white omelettes, but enough about that. I'm here for the espresso. Put more clearly, restretto espresso, which is a "short" and powerful shot of espresso typical to Italian espresso cafe's. It's kind of like the holy grail of restretto's because a lot of time espresso bars do not know what a restretto is and if they say they do, they don't and it's a mess. Espresso bars are a mixed bag on the beach. Some of the nicest places on Lincoln Road have some of the worst coffee. Cafe Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar is not one of those places. It's nice, and the espresso is awesome. I have had a regular espresso there, and I have had many restretto's. They hit the mark every single time. Part of this starts with the coffee itself. They are supplied by Illy which is a fairly well-known high end coffee espresso supplier out of Italy. For my money they are the best. If you happen to own an Illy espresso machine, there is a little display of the Illy Francis Francis and they sell the pods for their machine. But I digress. The coffee is just right on strength. The crema is always just right and overall, if you need to recharge your batteries, it can't be beat. But let's say you are hungry. Just in the times that I have been there, the most popular item is the Turkey Club sandwich. The success of the sandwich, like the coffee lies in the ingredients. All the ingredients are fresh, top quality ingredients, as if you went to the Whole Foods or Publix bought them individually and made the sandwich exactly the way you wanted. They are made to order. So you can add and subtract as you might wish. No prepackaged nonsense. My personal favorite sandwich is the Chicken Souvlaki. I have had it maybe 8-10 times. It never disappoints. Fresh Chicken Breast, crisp lettuce. Delicious. Maybe I am overselling this because it is a sandwich. But my advice would be to try it yourself, and see the difference. As a patron said the last time I was there (I was behind here in line and she was talking to the cashier, "I just came from a Cuban place and the food was disgusting, my boyfriend had a sandwich from here, and I threw mine away and came here. He was right. " She ordered the turkey club and she was a satisfied customer. I am seeing knocks on here about the price. The chicken souvlaki is $6.99. The turkey club is one of the more expensive at $8.75. The sandwiches are about 10 inches and if you are hungry you might eat an entire one, but you may eat half and save the half for a snack later. While I will concede that the subway across the street is cheaper, I think we all agree that if you want subway you go to subway, and if you want fabulous coffee and a top quality sandwich, you go to Crema. As I write this, it is 1:31, and I am taking the one block walk from Lincoln Road down Washington (to the right facing East) to Crema. I am getting the chicken souvlaki and the espresso and I have ever confidence in the world that this time, as with all the others, it will be awesome. So, if you go to the beach and you want a great coffee. I am recommending Crema. My review is mostly limited to sandwiches and espressos because that is what I normally get there. It is catching on, so it has become busier, but really and truly, this is a local known spot that some visitors are starting to find and it's excellent.

This restaurant has so many things I dream of in a café: great prices, extremely clean, lots of choices, fresh food, chill atmosphere, and free WiFi! I was so surprised how fresh and delicious the food is. I'm a person who loves options and at Crema you have endless possibilities. When I go to other cafes, I'm always disappointed at how little options you have for such a high price. Crema had over 30 different ingredients to put into you sandwich or salad and even more to add to their crepes. I ordered the chicken Souvlaki with olive tapenade and spinach, a chocolate lovers crepe, and a Santorini shake with Greek yogurt. Everything was made fresh before my eyes and exactly the way I love it. The prices are great (around $5-$9) for sandwiches, salads, and crepes. The portions are very generous.

The cafe has a nice atmosphere. The latte is decent, my mum took the iced vanilla latte which was more on the watery side lacking real flavor. They serve the food on plastic dishes with plastic cutlery. Not sure I would come back again, just because I think there are better, and more cozy places.

Food was ok. I had the half sandwich and salad. Salad dressing was good. Some type of vinegrette. The sandwich can use some work. Not so much meat. It was actially plain in my opinion. The coffee drinks were ok. Theres a separation of foam....if you like that, then you'll love this place. Nothing really special. The guys there have nothing much to do but check out grls when its dead. LOSERS~

Had the salmon sandwich. Delicious to the last bite! Reason why it's not a five star is how long it took since I placed my order. There was only one person ahead of me, it took them 20 minutes to make 1 sandwich? I'd hate to see this place when it's busy

What an amazing spot! My husband and I are from Washington, D.C. We have been to many small coffee shops, but hands down this place is the bomb! The coffee has such a rich flavor WOW! I myself am from Costa Rica we know about coffee :) and this place has it! The food is not greasy, is very juicy and has lots of flavor, just perfect! Love it! I will miss you Crema! No doubt about visiting when I am in town!

I've had lunch there a few times and have never been disappointed. The soups are delicious! The sandwiches are scrumptious! Everything is prepared on the spot and just the way you like it. I've had their smoothies too...delicious!!! But the iced coffees are my absolute favorite! I don't even know the name of what I get because the first time I had it, I came in and told the guy that I was falling asleep and needed something coffee, cold and sweet! Ever since I just walk in and ask him to make me the same as before! LOL The staff is very friendly and always with a smile. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The food is simply delicious

I eat here pretty much every day and I'll tell you why: -It's delicious -It's healthy -It's affordable -It's the best place in SOBE These are my favorites from their excellent menu, and I highly recommend these: The salmon salad is delicious, as well as the spinach salad. Their portions are big! I absolutely love all of their wraps, especially the tuna wrap. I don't know what they put in their tuna but it's the best I've ever had. Another favorite of mine is the green juices, my personal fave is the Detox Power, again their sizes are big compared to other juice bars, and much more affordable. I haven't had their crepes yet, but my coworker had the Turkey crepe and said it was out of this world! Not sure why some people are complaining about the service, everybody that works there is kind and polite. Oh! I almost forgot to tell you about the coffee here! Excellent! Strong like coffee should be. So, if you're in Miami Beach and are hungry, I recommend you go to Crema, this place is right on the money!

I wish I could have said I enjoyed this place because it so clean and cute. I felt cheated especially after all the other places we dine while visiting. The egg white omelet was skimpy. The egg white and cheese sandwich was more bread but good. I thought the green team drink would be like most and not full of ice. The staff didn't seem to enthusiastic or happy and didn't check on customers for feedback . Very disappointed for our last meal in Miami.

I live round the corner from Crema, so I'm there often to buy sandwiches for my very picky husband: I never got a complaint. The coffee is also good, way better than Starbucks and the place is very clean. The service is very efficient. We needed a place like this in the area!

Finally, an online menu and available on Eat24! Hands down the best breakfast spot in South Beach. Great food and speedy delivery. Not sure why there are negative reviews. I haven't had one bad experience here.

Great coffee and crepes! They seemed to have a good selection of breakfast and lunch sandwiches too. I was visiting South Beach and found it hard to find a lot of cafe style breakfast and lunch places so this ended up being great! Only thing I didn't like was the people working there weren't very friendly, but I could have caught them on an off day.

I work in the office building above Crema, and I've got to be honest and give this place only 2 stars. Among the employees I work with, Crema is known for making "bread sandwiches", and I'm afraid I must agree with that observation. The last sandwich I got from Crema was their triple decker turkey club, which had maybe 2 slices of turkey on the first piece of bread with two pieces of bacon and one slice of cheese, then lettuce and tomato on the 2nd slice of bread. No mayo or any other condiment. It tasted like it was all bread (the bread is pretty good for what that's worth). I got a pastrami sandwich several months back, and there were only 2 thin slices of pastrami in it. Compare to the overstuffed pastrami sandwiches at Jerry's Deli only 3 blocks away. The final straw was today, when my girlfriend ordered their cheese crepe, which had a blend of cheeses in it INCLUDING BLUE CHEESE. Under no circumstances should one ever heat up blue cheese. She couldn't eat it. She does like their soups, however. My co-workers stay away from this place in droves, and you should too until management decides they're going to start making sandwiches with some actual meat in them. For the prices they charge, that's the least they could do.

Upon entering Crema you notice the extensive and eclectic menu. From fresh juices and smoothies to crepes and salads, this place has it all. Excellent flavors and great service. And...the prices are right on too. I hope this place stays open for a really long time (and the prices stay the same)

This is my favorite new spot in all of Miami. The food is fresh and most of the items are organic. They not only have fantastic gourmet sandwiches and coffee, they also offer healthy options such as smoothies and a juice bar. Best coffee and gourmet sandwiches I have had in America. Service was immaculate. Definitely a "must" while visiting the Magic City! Margie Hawayek WTM.Com Editor

I ordered the nutella, almond, and banana crepe and it tasted really good. The reason why I give this place 2 stars is because the order didnt have a reciept, and when I asked how much the delivery guy was sure that it cost 18$. I knew it was 11$ but maybe there was some upcharge but he couldnt even tell me what that was. I gave him 20$ with tip. I called the restaurant to ask how much it was and they told me it was 11$ but they said it wasnt worth it for them to send the delivery guy back to give me my change. I should not have given him anything without making sure of the price. oh well. 2 stars. yummy crepe but not worth the price i paid for it

Excellent coffee, wonderful selection of fresh juices, and freshly baked goods and healthy sandwiches. I started with the Detox Power juice (green apple, kale & spinach) and got a Soy Latte and Salmon Baguette Sandwich to go. Will be back again soon!

This spot is great for a quick lunch, eat-in or to go.. The Bread is amazing, which is always important. It all seems very fresh, and you can make your own Sandwich or choose of the menu for around $10. -- Really good portions too, and extra meat is just $1.25 ! -- they do charge $0.55 for mayo ... Staff is all really nice and the ownership seems very involved. Will return ASAP

  • Tim R.

Coffee not bad, juice ok but they didn't have half the things they advertise on the menu. 'They don't sell pomegranates in Miami' we were told. Ok - well why include them on your menu in a number of different items? Half the breakfast menu included items with bagels... But they had run out of bagels too.
